SUBSTANCE: proposed catalyst for the synthesis of hydrocarbons from CO and H2, selective for the formation of hydrocarbons C5+, comprises cobalt and silica gel carrier. Contains 20.6–22.2 % of the mass cobalt and 0.8–1.2 % of the mass manganese additives. Invention also includes a method for producing a catalyst as described above.

EFFECT: production of cobalt manganese silica gel catalyst for synthesis of hydrocarbons from CO and H2 by the Fischer-Tropsch method with improved catalytic properties, as well as high quality of the synthesized product and the possibility of its use without changing the composition of the hydrocarbons obtained.
