FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for separating liquid and solid particles contained in a gas-liquid mixture under the action of inertia forces, and can be used in oil, gas, machine building, food, chemical industries, as well as in agriculture. Inertial separator comprises a body, a rotor inside the body, rotatable about a horizontal axis, inside the rotor, along its lateral surface, a flexible, endless belt made of a porous material is embedded. In the upper part of the rotor between its inner surface and the outer surface of the belt, a pressure roller, forming an inverted camber section in the belt, is installed. Along the belt under its oncoming branch of the inverted camber section there is a chute, a branch pipe, one end of which is connected to the rotor cavity, and the other end of which is connected to a traction fan. Inside the belt along its lateral surface, under the belt branch running off the roller, a feed tube with a slit directed to the belt is installed along the path of its movement. Under the feed tube there is a curvilinear shield, facing its convexity to the inner surface of the belt so that the gap between the belt and the shield narrows to the bottom of the shield.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of the separator.
