FIELD: heat and power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to inertial vane devices that are used in heat and power engineering, it can be used in boiler plants that operate on fuel with abrasive ash. A vane flow-through axial-radial separator placed in the flow of a gas-ash mixture, for example, in front of the economizer of an energy boiler, has a shaft on which hollow vanes with longitudinal and end slits are fixed, a hollow shell with an annular slit surrounding the separator and connected to the ash collection network of the boiler, through channels located on the shaft connected to the cavities in the vanes. Gas flows into this flow-through system from an external source, which is repelled by a jet from the grid of vanes installed at subcritical angles of attack in the annular slit of the separator shell.
EFFECT: separator is characterized by a strong structure, a high degree of separation of abrasive ash from the flowing gas-ash stream, small dimensions and hydraulic resistance in the convective shaft of the boiler.
