FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry and can be used to produce castings by investment casting. Method of manufacturing a ceramic mold for investment casting includes layering on the melted model of the suspension based on an aqueous binder and refractory pulverized filler in the form of micropowder of electrocorundum with sprinkling the surface of each layer and drying the applied layer. Between the ceramic layers cause mesh material with a burnout temperature less than 1,000 °C, which is set after each layer or after a specified number of layers.
EFFECT: it provides the necessary strength of the form in the raw state and the elimination of the difficult shrinkage of the metal in the calcined form.
