FIELD: foundry.
SUBSTANCE: the method for making ceramic molds by investment casting includes layer-by-layer deposition on a model block of a ceramic suspension based on a basic silica ash binder and sprinkling with refractory granular material. After applying each layer, the model-ceramic block is subjected to evacuation to a residual pressure of 0.506⋅104-5.065⋅104 Pa and held for 6-10 minutes, and then in a vacuum chamber is treated with vapors of a gaseous hardener of the main silica ash binder for 4-8 minutes with external pressure of gaseous hardener 6.078⋅104-1.013⋅105 Pa.
EFFECT: acceleration of the formation of a ceramic mold on the model block is provided.
