FIELD: personal protection equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the means of individual protection of the human respiratory organs from exposure of low ambient temperatures and can be used when being outside at low temperatures up to -60 °C. Claimed design of a half mask for protection of the human respiratory organs from cold consists of a body, in the middle part of which there are built-in heat-saving elements in the form of three layers of nets, two layers are made of woven stainless material and placed on the inside of the half mask, the third layer is located on top of the above two layers on the outside of the mask in the inhalation-exhalation zone and is made of a polymer material; along the contour of the mask there is a shutter designed to ensure a tight fit of the contour of the mask to the face, on the obturator in its upper part there is a strangulator attached, which ensures a tight fit of the half mask over the obturation strip in the nose area, on the opposite sides of the half mask on the obturator there is a headband consisting of an adjustable elastic band, which contains the sleeve retainer, designed for the selection of the size of the headband by adjusting the length of the tape.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the efficiency of air heating and a reduction in the resistance to inhalation and exhalation.
