FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to a method for injecting a reducing agent into a gasification reactor or into a blast furnace. Method for pneumatic injection of a powdered alternative reducing agent by pneumatically conveying powders in a dense layer, in which the density of the powdered alternative reducing agent layer is 60 % or more of the packing density in the unconsolidated state of the bulk material, by means of carrier gas to the reactor, in particular to the gasification reactor or through an air lance into the blast furnace, wherein the alternative reducing agent is subjected to gasification in a gasification reaction, and the carrier gas contains a combustible gas, namely carbon monoxide, hydrogen, water vapor, oxygen, hydrocarbon, top gas, natural gas, coke oven gas, converter gas, other off-gas or a mixture thereof.
EFFECT: rate of injection of an alternative reducing agent and the degree of its use is increased.
