FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an adhesive (meth)acrylate-based composition, which is used as an adhesive for labeling or sealing adhesive. Composition is an aqueous (meth)acrylate dispersion, which contains, based on the total weight of the adhesive composition: (a) 15.0–55.0 wt% of a polymer based on (meth)acrylate monomers, containing at least a copolymerisable auxiliary monomer selected from the group consisting of ethylenically unsaturated mono- and dicarboxylic acids, and (b) 0.1–5.0 wt% stabiliser. Stabiliser is a copolymer based on at least one vinyl ester, preferably vinyl acetate, and at least one diester of an alkene of formula H2C=CHR1-(CHR2)n-CH2R3, where at least two of R1, R2 and R3 are -OC(O)R4, and the rest denote hydrogen, R4 is C1-6-alkyl, preferably methyl, and n is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5, and the copolymer is partially or fully hydrolysed.
EFFECT: obtaining an adhesive composition that provides good adhesion on cold and wet surfaces.
