SUBSTANCE: invention relates to data processing, in particular to metadata-based photo and video animation. Said technical result is achieved by the fact that techniques are disclosed, that can facilitate metadata-based photo and video animation. For instance, multiple images (for example, still images) of a scene may be combined into an image sequence. Image may be selected from the multiple images to represent the scene. Such an image may be referred to as a primary image. Metadata may be associated with the primary image. Metadata may include a reference to the image sequence.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of photo and video animation processing.
