FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: to reduce iron loss in the manufacture of textured electrical steel sheet from Si-containing steel slab by hot rolling, cold rolling, primary recrystallization annealing, the final annealing and the formation of a coating that creates stretching, the sheet is subjected to aging at a temperature T in the range of 250–600 °C for 1–10 s in the process of heating the primary recrystallization annealing and then heated to a temperature T up to 700 °C at a speed of at least 80 °C/s and from 700 °C to a holding temperature at a speed of not more than 15 °C/s, at which the oxygen potential from 700 °C to the holding temperature is 0.2–0.4 and the oxygen potential in the aging process is 0.3–0.5, and the fraction of the area of secondary recrystallization grains is at least 90 %, when the deflection angle α from the ideal orientation {110}<001> is less than 6.5°, and the area share is at least 75 % when the deflection angle β is less than 2.5°, and the average length [L] in the direction of rolling is not more than 20 mm, and the average value of [β] angle β(°) is 15.63×[β]+[L]<44.06.

EFFECT: providing a grain oriented electrical steel sheet having a better iron loss property and propose an advantageous manufacturing method thereof.
