FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of nonferrous metallurgy and can be used for the selective extraction of nickel and cobalt from sulphate solutions of heap leaching of oxidized nickel ores. Method of processing sulfate nickel-containing solutions includes the precipitation of nickel and cobalt in a collective concentrate with sodium hydrosulfide at pH 2–4.5, at room temperature. Deposition is carried out at the consumption of sodium hydrosulfide with its 10–50 % excess compared with the stoichiometric amount necessary for the deposition of nickel and cobalt.
EFFECT: technical result is the reduction of losses of nickel and cobalt due to the lack of cleaning solutions from impurities.
