FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises sequential stepwise productive solution processing by a neutralizing reagent for metals precipitation by adjusting the pH value of the solution. Thus, at the first processing stage, productive solution is processed until the pH value is pH 5.0-5.5, and in the second stage-until a pH of 8.5-9.5. The solution is sequentially treated with an alkaline reagent selected from the group consisting of sodium hydroxide, aqueous ammonia solution or sodium carbonate. After the second stage, the solution is further processed to reach pH 10.0-12.5. In this case, as starting productive solution, solutions of laterite nickel ore heap leaching are subject to processing.
EFFECT: nickel loss reduction and sequential selective removal of other valuable components.
