FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the automotive industry. Pneumatic tire includes the tread portion, sidewall and side sections. Tread portion comprises a central main groove extending in the direction along the circumference of the tire and a main groove of the shoulder area located outside the central main groove and extending in the direction along the circumference of the tire. Contact area is limited between the central main groove and the main groove of the shoulder area. Central main groove has a zigzag shape in the circumferential direction of the tire. Plurality of lateral grooves extending inward from the main groove of the shoulder area in the lateral direction of the tire and ending without communicating with the central main groove are provided in the contact portion. Curved portion, curved toward the first side in the circumferential direction of the tire, is formed at the final end of each of the lateral grooves. Plurality of narrow grooves, passing intermittently in the direction along the tire circumference without communication with curved parts, are formed in the contact portion. Narrow grooves are arranged substantially parallel to the zigzag central main groove.
EFFECT: improved driving stability on dry and wet roads, increased resistance to uneven wear.
