FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radiolocation, in particular to protection of survey radar stations from response pulse interference. Two probe signals of different levels are emitted successively in a short time interval in one direction of the radar beam. Detected signals are analyzed in pairs. Decision to recognize target return signals and response pulse interference signals is made by comparing the ratios of the levels of the emitted and detected signals.
EFFECT: technical result (technical problem being solved) is the increased reliability of recognition of target return signals and response pulse interference signals.
