FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the tobacco industry, more specifically to electronic cigarettes with electric heating and their containers for aerosol forming substrate. Container consists of the following: housing having at least one air inlet and at least one air outlet; tubular element holding fluid for sorption forming the aerosol substrate; and air-permeable capillary wick membrane containing at least one electric heater; membrane is located on the end surface of the tubular element holding the liquid, so that the formed path of the air flow passing from at least one air inlet through the membrane section to at least one air outlet. Aerosol-forming device with electric heating (electronic cigarette) contains: power source; cavity for placing the container; electrical contacts connected to the power source and configured to connect the power source to the container heater; and air inlet port adapted to be connected to at least one container air inlet.

EFFECT: technical result is the elimination of the effect of gravity on performance and cost reduction.
