SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the tobacco industry, more specifically to electronic cigarettes with electric heating and their containers for aerosol forming substrate. Proposed container comprises: a body and a cover containing a piercing region, and a heater forming a boundary of the piercing region. Aerosol-forming device with electric heating (electronic cigarette) contains: power supply; a cavity for accommodating a container enclosing the aerosol-forming substrate; electric contacts connected to the power supply and configured to connect the power supply to the container heater through the electrical contacts of the container; means for piercing the area of container piercing when this container is placed in said cavity.

EFFECT: technical result is more complete reaction of nicotine with compound improving delivery, improved mixing of reagents in gaseous phase and improved heating of aerosol-forming substrate.
