FIELD: motor vehicle industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the locking element of a truck assembly and variants of a pickup truck assembly. Said locking element may be located within the opening partly formed by the corner element and the edge of the beam of the side panel adjacent to the tailgate of the truck body and the rear light of the cargo body of a light-duty truck. Said locking element may include an outer side attached to the corner element and having a shape substantially corresponding to the bend of the corner element, and the front side attached to the edge of the beam, providing that the closing element reinforces the bending of the corner element. Also the locking element may include an inner edge and an expansion element extending substantially at an angle of ninety degrees downward from the inner edge and may be at least partially attached to the corner element. Said side panel and locking element can be made of five thousand or six thousand series aluminum.
EFFECT: increased strength is provided.
