FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aeronautical engineering, in particular to the construction of gyroplanes. Autogyro with the possibility of vertical take-off consists of a body with pylon (1), landing gear (7), tail unit (6), supporting screw (4), consisting of hub and blades (26), power unit, mechanical transmission including a V-belt reducer, shafts, angular gear (11) with freewheel clutch, drive of tail pusher screw (16). Supporting screw and the pusher screw have a step change mechanism. Developed tail assembly is made with a mechanism for changing the installation angle to compensate for the reactive torque of the rotor during vertical take-off by blowing the tail assembly, while maintaining the possibility of controlling the course by the central rudder from the pedals.
EFFECT: possibility of vertical take-off of the gyroplane and stability in flight is ensured.
