FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to underground mining of mineral deposits prone to gas and geodynamic phenomena, and, in particular, to the development of coal deposits. Modular degassing unit (MDU) is designed for pumping methane-air mixture (MAM) from existing and already closed coal mines and mines, belongs to the mining industry and can be used in automated ventilation systems and air conditioning in oil mines and other underground structures, including hazardous gases and dust. This goal is achieved by the fact that the equipment of the modular degassing unit (MDU) is housed in a metal thermally insulated module-container, which acts as a housing and ensures that the external climatic conditions do not affect the operating parameters of the equipment, installed high-speed shut-off valves in the form of valves with pneumatic actuators, installed flame arresters, developed and implemented an automated control system for the degassing unit (ACS DU), ensuring the operation of the MDU as in an automatic (without human intervention), and in manual modes, the transfer of operational information on the operating parameters of the MDU to the control room of the mine, as well as work within the unified system of aerogas control (AGC) of the mine.
EFFECT: efficient pumping of the methane-air mixture (MAM) from the existing and closed (mothballed) coal mines and mines, reducing the volume of methane flowing into the mine and coming to the surface from the soil, transportation of pumped gas for utilization or further use, reduction to a minimum, or complete elimination of the participation of service personnel in the management of the operation of the modular degassing unit (MDU) and reducing the likelihood of human error in the operation of equipment at a hazardous production facility, the possibility of operation, regardless of the external climatic conditions, the transfer of operational information about the operating parameters of the MDU to the mine's dispatching service to work under a unified system of aerogas control (AGC).
