FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the prone to gas and geodynamic phenomena mineral deposits underground mining, and, in particular, to the coal deposits development. Modular degassing unit (MDU) is designed for methane-air mixture (MAM) pumping out from existing and already closed coal and ore mines, relates to the mining industry, and can be used in the automated ventilation systems and air conditioning in oil mines and other underground structures, including gases and dust explosion hazardous. Modular degassing unit (MDU) equipment is housed in the metal thermo-and noise-insulated modular container, ensuring that environmental conditions do not affect the equipment operating parameters, as well as preventing th operating equipment noise spreading into the surrounding space, shut-off valves with pneumatic actuators, purge pipelines, and flame arresters are installed, to create a vacuum, a dry-type vacuum pump (rotary vacuum pump) is used, which does not require water to operate, an automated degassing unit control system (ACS DU) has been developed and implemented, ensuring the MDU operation both in the automatic (without human participation) and in the manual modes, the operational information transmission about the MDU operating parameters to the mine control room, and operation within the mine AGC unified system.
EFFECT: invention technical task is the methane-air mixture (MAM) effective pumping out from existing and closed (mothballed) coal and ore mines, reducing the entering the mine working and coming to the surface from the soil methane volume; the evacuated gas transportation for disposal or further use.
