FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: installation for drying of gas line comprises vacuum pump, main pipeline connecting suction nozzle of vacuum pump with discharge of steam and gas mixture from disconnected and sealed section of gas line, and cooler installed on line that transports steam and gas mixture and arranged in the form of direct contact device or surface heat exchanger. Installation is equipped with device for cold water production comprising refrigerating device with evaporator and condenser, and water-transporting lines that accordingly connect outlet of evaporator cold water to inlet of cooler cold water, and outlet of heated cooler water to inlet of heated evaporator water. Besides the latter of specified water-transporting lines is equipped with nozzle for condensate drain.

EFFECT: less time required for drying of disconnected section of manifold gas line, reduced capital and operational costs.
