FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the devices for suppressing acoustic oscillations. Acoustic honeycomb panel having a radius of curvature is cut into segments that have longitudinal and transverse sides extending between the edges of the honeycomb structure. Segments are joined together along their longitudinal or transverse sides to form a segmented acoustic cellular structure, in which the radius of curvature differs from the radius of curvature of the original acoustic cellular panel. Shape of the longitudinal or transverse sides of the segments and the thickness of the adhesive joint can be adjusted in order to obtain segmented acoustic honeycomb panels, which are highly curvilinear and that are suitable for use in demanding noise reduction applications such as jet engine nacelles.
EFFECT: technical result is to obtain the curvature or contour of the panel with a sharper bend and deformation-free structure or acoustic distortion.
