FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely, neurology, and can be used for the treatment of neuropathy of the lower alveolar nerve. Pre-conduct clinical and neurophysiological study by neurological examination and recording of acoustic stem evoked potentials (ASEP) and trigeminal evoked potentials (TEP) in the mandible. If numbness and neurophysiological changes in ASEP are detected in this area as shortening of latencies of the III peak, increasing amplitudes of I-III-V peaks and neurophysiological changes of TEP as reducing the latency of N1 and P2 components, as well as increasing the amplitude of P1-N1 on both sides, they are exposed to a low-intensity pulsed magnetic field in the form of rhythmic magnetic stimulation. Impact is carried out in the region of the lower jaw, corresponding to numbness, with a stimulus strength of 1–1.5 T and with a pulse delivery frequency of 1 Hz, daily for 15–20 minutes, with a course of treatment for 10 days.
EFFECT: method provides a reduction of sensitive disorders in the area of the inferior alveolar nerve, the expansion of technical means for the treatment of post-traumatic neuropathy of the inferior alveolar nerve due to a preliminary neurophysiological study and the use of a low-intensity pulsed magnetic field.
