SUBSTANCE: invention relates to traumatology and orthopedics and may be applicable for the intraoperative prophylaxis of the syndrome of the pear-shaped muscle in the treatment of old fractures of the posterior column, the posterior edge of the acetabulum. After an audit of the posterior column, the posterior edge of the acetabulum, reposition, and osteosynthesis, a suture is placed on the tendons of short external rotators with a transposition: the pear-shaped muscle tendon is stitched to the gluteus maximus tendon, the tendon of the upper twin muscle together with the lower twin muscle – to the tendon of the lower twin muscle, the suture of the tendon of the internal obturator muscle is produced at the intersection of this muscle.

EFFECT: method allows to avoid compression of the sciatic nerve after suture of the tendons.
