SUBSTANCE: accessory product for a steam device comprising a pan to accommodate the sole of the steam device during the cleaning cycle so that steam, water and/or scale are directed to said pan, the pan has a hole so at placing the sole of the steam device on the pan, the steam exits the pan in the direction from the said steam device through the said hole, the pan has a base and a support surface for placing and supporting the sole of the steam device in a position above the base, the support surface defines the periphery of the aperture in the pan, made with the possibility of contact with the entire contour length of the peripheral edge of the sole placed on the support surface. Steam device is also provided, such as a steam iron having a sole designed to be placed on accessory product.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving the design of an accessory product for a steam device that eliminates the potential danger to the user due to steam surrounding the iron during the cleaning process, eliminates the formation of condensation on the body and other components of the device, which is undesirable, and also prolongs the service life of the steam device and facilitates the descaling system.
