FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processes and apparatuses of chemical technology, namely to catalytic processes with a fixed catalyst bed in flow reactors, and can be used in the refining, gas processing and other industries. Catalytic reactor comprising vertical cylindrical body 1 in which at least two layers of solid catalyst 2 are enclosed, separated by an intermediate zone containing a fitting for introducing quenching gas 3, collector plate 4 associated with the mixing chamber of gas product fluid 5 with quenching gas 12, and distribution device 9, the outer part of collector plate 4 is made in the form of a truncated cone, pointing vertically downstream of gas product fluid 11, and the inner one is in the form of a truncated cone, pointing vertically upstream of gas product fluid 11, mixing chamber 5 is made in the form of an annular cup filled with catalyst 2, with permeable outer and inner walls 6 and permeable annular bottom 7, the part of the intermediate zone following the fitting for introducing quenching gas 3 into vessel 1 of the reactor is provided with baffle 10, wherein the reactor further comprises installed horizontal annular plate 8, mated with the lower edge of the permeable outer wall 6 of the mixing chamber 5 and with body 1 of the reactor.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is the improved design of the reactor with compensation for the negative thermal effect, while maintaining the required temperature conditions in the apparatus without mounting complex metal structures that remove heat of reaction, while maintaining uniform operation of the catalyst in the layer.
