SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical technology, namely to the means of communication between the deaf and blind. Communication device of a deaf-blind person includes a housing, at least one electrical contact group located on the housing and configured to close the contacts with a finger of a person’s hand to generate an electrical signal and input/output an informational message to a control unit located in the housing, equipped with a battery with a pin power connector, to turn on the power supply and/or charge the battery, at least one vibro-tactile device made in the form of a vibration motor, and an LED indicator of the operating mode associated with the control unit, and a Bluetooth module for communicating the communication device with external mobile devices, a smartphone or tablet using the android and/or iOs operating systems, while the body is designed to be placed in the palm of the hand, the shape and dimensions of which interface to the inner surface of the compressed palm, has a protrusion at the location of the index finger and a flat bevel at the location thumb, while on the ledge and flat bevel there are the keys of the electric contact group, the LED indicator of the device operation mode is located in the upper part of the case, between the protrusion and the bevel, and on the lower end surface of the case there is a device power button, a pin power connector and a button for adjusting the parameters of the vibration signal, configured to control the duration of the vibration pulses, the pauses between them, and the power of the vibration.
EFFECT: use of the invention allows to expand the functionality of the communication device.
