FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the metallurgy of non-ferrous metals, in particular to the extraction of noble metals from cyanide solutions with zinc or aluminum. Method includes contacting the solutions with an electronegative metal loaded in the bottom conical part of the cementator. Solution is fed from the bottom up, the cementing metal is filled with a mechanical stirrer. Flow rate of the initial solution set 5–20 ml per minute per 1 cm2 of the geometric area of the upper layer of electronegative metal particles in the reaction chamber. Electronegative metal particles have a particle size of 0.1–1 mm.
EFFECT: increase in specific productivity by 3–5 times when the required degree of extraction is achieved, for example, gold.
