FIELD: valve production.
SUBSTANCE: present document describes axial fluid valves having curved or angled valve bodies. Valve disclosed herein comprises valve body (102, 104) defining passageway (110) between inlet (112) and outlet (114), wherein the inlet is aligned along first axis (164) and the outlet is aligned along second axis (166). Valve includes flow control member (106) interposed between the inlet and the outlet. Valve also includes actuator (108) having stem (128) coupled to the flow control member to move the flow control member along a third axis in the passageway. In the example valve, third axis (168) is substantially parallel to and offset from at least one of the first axis or the second axis. In addition, the valve includes cage (126) located inside said cavity formed in the first part of the valve body, and said cage is designed to accommodate said plunger (106) within itself.
EFFECT: axial fluid valve is disclosed.
