SUBSTANCE: hydraulic regulating valve contains: a valve case having an inlet part for liquid and an outlet part for liquid; a bypass channel for liquid connecting the inlet part for liquid and the outlet part for liquid; a gate assembly located inside the bypass channel for liquid, while the gate assembly interacts with a regulating body to regulate liquid passing through the bypass channel for liquid, wherein the gate assembly contains a cup and a cup holder, while the cup holder is located downstream behind the cup, wherein the cup holder and the cup are coaxially aligned inside the bypass channel for liquid, while the cup holder contains a lateral branched resonator group, which has a set of cavities located in the sidewall of the cup holder, wherein at least one of the set of cavities has one of a spherical chamber and a pyramidal chamber.

EFFECT: such lateral branched resonator groups make it possible for the gate assembly to muffle or attenuate the noise created by pressure reduction elements of the gate assembly.
