SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of communication technology and can be used in communications with amplitude-or frequency-manipulated signals. In the method of extracting a signal in the presence of interference, an additive mixture of the signal and interference is processed in the linear path of the receiver, after which the signal is squared and a decision is made on the presence of a signal by comparing with a threshold. Signal after squaring is filtered by a low-pass filter (LPF), whose band is matched with the band of the signal, and simultaneously filtered by bandpass filter (BF), whose bandwidth is chosen the way the upper frequency of the BF corresponds to the upper frequency of the signal, the lower frequency of the BF is chosen as close as possible to zero, the selection of the low-pass filter and the BF is carried out with identical to the maximum degree of phase-frequency characteristics relative to each other and so, that provide the minimum possible value of the sum of the differences of the values of the amplitude-frequency characteristics of the LPF and BF taken for all frequencies by converting in the corresponding analog-to-digital converters (ADC), form samples of signals, passed the BF and LPF, these values are subtracted one from the other in the computing device, the values obtained are summarized and memorized, from the obtained amount the value of the interference power is subtracted, obtained by filtering the interference with the same low-pass filter, which filter the signal and interference mixture, and at the same time filtering the interference with the same BF, which are used to filter the mixture of signal and interference, by converting to the corresponding ADCs, they form samples of interference that passed through the LPF and BF, these values subtract one from the other, the obtained values are summarized and memorized, the given value of the interference power is obtained during the time interval of the analysis of the interference, which is located directly in front of the information symbol being processed and which contains only noise.
EFFECT: technical result is the provision of the possibility of estimating the interference power for a time commensurate with the period of the signal change, and due to this, in improving the noise immunity of communication means by ensuring the selection of a signal in the presence of interference such as additive Gaussian noise and narrowband interference.
