FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the radio engineering. Signal is squared. After squaring, the signal is branched into two identical components, one of them is filtered with a low-pass filter (LPF), the second component is filtered by a bandpass filter. Signals from the filter outputs are sampled and stored in memory for further processing. "Sliding window" is formed, consisting of two intervals of the same duration (the same number of samples). Power for each interval is calculated as the difference of the sums of the samples taken at the outputs of the LPF and the bandpass filter for the duration of the corresponding interval. Difference in the power values obtained for the second and for the first intervals is compared with a predetermined threshold. If the difference in the obtained power values does not exceed the threshold, the "sliding window" is shifted by a certain, predetermined number of samples (K1). Described procedure is repeated until the threshold is exceeded. This moment is considered to be the moment of the possible appearance of a signal. Value of this moment is defined as the value of the position of the right boundary of the first interval entering the "sliding window".
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of the detection of the appearance of a speech signal in the presence of interference.
