FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the measurement equipment. In the indirect measurement method, prior to the measurements, enabling the differential sensor given imbalance, significantly exceeding the measured value operating change range, performing the required measurement with the sensor output signal obtaining, sensor output signal is subjected to straightening, from the straightened signal subtracting the predetermined constant value, obtained after subtraction signal value is measured and used to find the measured value magnitude, wherein the sensor imbalance and the subtracted predetermined constant value are selected on the basis of the condition that between the measured value within the operating range and obtained after the subtraction signal value a monotonic dependence was ensured. Indirect measurement device contains the differential sensor excited by alternating voltage and having an imbalance substantially exceeding the measured value operating change range, rectifier for the differential sensor output signal straightening; a subtraction circuit for the constant value subtraction from the rectifier output signal; and a measuring device for the signal value measuring at the subtraction circuit output.

EFFECT: technical result of the claimed group of inventions is enabling the made by the differential sensor measurements accuracy and sensitivity, while simplifying the device design.
