FIELD: monitoring and measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrumentation and can be used as converter of non-electrical values, for example, thickness of material and its dielectric permeability to electric value. Converter of capacitance sensor capacitance, in which the first plate of the measuring capacitor is connected to a constant potential, comprises an input point for connecting the second capacitive sensor measuring capacitor plate, a charging pulse generator which generates recurrent charge pulses of a rectangular shape, a discharge circuit connected to said input point and configured to provide a charge drain from the input point during the absence of a charging pulse, converter output signal shaper, bipolar transistor, emitter of which is connected to charge pulse generator output, which base is connected to transducer input point, and the collector is connected to the output signal generator, wherein the output signal generator is configured to generate an output signal of the converter depending on the commutator current of the bipolar transistor.

EFFECT: invention provides faster operation of the capacitance converter and simplification of its circuit design.
