METHOD OF WATER FROM AIR PRODUCING Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC E03B3/28

Abstract RU 2675486 C1

FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for autonomous production of pure fresh water from air, by evaporation of water and condensation of air-steam mixture. Formation of stream of vapor-air mixture and deposition of water vapor in condensers is performed with selection of fresh water. To form a vapor-air mixture flow inside heat-insulated tanks with positive buoyancy and a transparent top surface, hermetic transparent tubes with mirror concentrators of solar energy are placed at an angle to the horizon. Conduits are mounted on the focal point of the hubs that absorb solar energy. Conduits lower end is communicated with external aqueous medium to be filled with water. Water is heated in conduits by solar energy with hot water through the upper ends of conduits in the tank due to the difference in density of hot water in the conduits and cold water of the environment. Hot water is fed into the tanks on an inclined ribbed light-absorbing surface, heated by the sun, for slow drainage and better evaporation. Sloping ridge surface is lined with polymeric film, on which salt precipitates upon evaporation of water. Resulting layer of salt in containers is periodically removed along with the film, the film is replaced. For removal of vapor-air mixture into condensers, superchargers driven by sun renewable energy or wind are used. Air dried in condensers is heated in heat exchangers by the heat of condensation of moisture and is fed back into the tanks to re-form the vapor-air flow.

EFFECT: increased productivity of method for pure fresh water due to forced saturation of air with moisture at elevated temperature.
