FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for autonomous production of pure fresh water by evaporation of sea water and condensation of steam-air mixture. Method consists in saturation of atmospheric air with water vapors in evaporators, formation of steam-air flow by injectors, supply of heated air saturated with water vapors to condensers and moisture extraction. Saturation of atmospheric air with water vapor in evaporators is carried out due to solar energy. Injectors supply solar energy to internal surface of capacitors located at sea level. Inner surface is hydrophobic to create drop condensation of moisture, which increases coefficient of heat transfer of walls of capacitors and increases amount of condensed moisture. Inside the condensers there are installed steam-air mixture blowing agents for mixing the steam-air flow and its inflow to cold walls of capacitors. Walls of capacitors are inclined to the horizon to ensure unimpeded drain of moisture droplets into accumulation tanks for moisture extraction. To prevent sedimentation of sea salt in evaporators, circulation of sea water is provided by using heat energy of heated atmospheric air saturated with water vapor for convective movement of sea water into evaporators. Excess of sea water in evaporators is discharged by gravity through holes beyond their limits. Atmospheric air used to form a steam-air mixture is moved in a closed cycle to ensure purity of the obtained fresh water. To prevent fouling of capacitors by biomaterial, which reduces heat-removing properties, capacitors are made of copper and ultrasonic radiators feeding with solar energy are installed on them. To impart stable vertical buoyancy of capacitors to the lower part of capacitors, a load is attached.
