SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to supply the developer. The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the reservoir for the supply of the developer is detachably installed in the device for receiving the developer, including the section for receiving the developer, provided with a receiving hole for receiving the developer, and a part to be engaged that can be displaced integrally with the section for receiving the developer. The developer supply reservoir includes an outlet section provided with an opening of a developer outlet shutter located in the developer accommodating section, and an engaging portion. The engaging part engages with the part to be engaged in the operation of installing the developer supply reservoir, displacing the developer receiving section so as to bring the receiving opening into fluid communication with the shutter opening. The engaging part includes a folded portion at an angle with respect to the mounting direction of the developer supply container, the angle decreasing as it approaches the upstream side in the mounting direction.

EFFECT: possibility of creating a structure capable of reducing the working force (acting force) for installing a reservoir for supplying the developer.
