SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an air treatment system. It contains an air treatment unit, configured to handle the parameter of the air environment; the controller of the air treatment unit and the sensor determining the value characterizing the parameter, with data transmission to the controller, which is configured to determine whether the sensor and the air treatment unit are in the same air space, by controlling the air treatment unit, ensuring its operation in the first mode of operation, and analyzing the data received from the sensor; moreover, if the sensor and the air treatment unit are defined as being in the same space, the controller is configured to control the air treatment unit to ensure its operation in the second mode of operation based on data from the sensor. Said air treatment unit contains an air cleaner, configured to filter the surrounding air environment for processing the parameter of the air environment; and if the sensor and the air cleaner are defined as not in the same space of the air environment, the controller is configured to control the air cleaner to ensure its operation in the third mode of operation, which is independent of sensor data.
EFFECT: improved control of the air handling unit.
