FIELD: technology of water and air purification.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to indoor air purification devices. Air purification device comprises at least one air pollutant removal structure having a fluid connection with the main opening and a system of directed openings comprising a directional inlet for sucking air into the air purification device from a certain area of the target space and a directed outlet in an additional target direction towards said area. There is also a device for moving air from the inlet to the main opening in the first configuration and for moving air from the main opening to the outlet through said air pollutant removal structure in the second configuration as a reaction to a controller signal. Also provided is a sensor for determining the pollutant concentration in the air in said area, when the device for moving air is in the first orientation, wherein the controller responds to the signal of said sensor and is configured to switch the device for moving air from the first configuration to the second configuration if the pollutant concentration exceeds the specified threshold of pollutant concentration.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of air purification and reduced scope of discomfort from directional airflow perceived by a person.
