FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is the hydrocarbon fuels combustion method, which can be used in the production of electricity, the automobile and aerospace vehicles engines working process organization, and in other power plants. Method consists in the fact that the hydrocarbons (hydrogen fuel or gas) incomplete oxidation metastable products molecules stimulated destruction is first carried out by electron impact in the preliminary combustion chamber due to the microwave irradiation in the electron-cyclotron resonance mode (ECR), in the transverse magnetic field during the fuel with a high rate of the molecules dissociation combustion, with the electrons from atoms separation, the radical ions and active molecules formation, which with the flow acceleration are then directed to the detonation combustion chamber. In the detonation combustion chamber, the fuel combustion products are exposed to the active particles avalanche-like flow with the fuel combustion volumetric detonation process chain branched reactions intensification, which stability can be maintained by the resonant microwave radiation or by the resonant laser radiation, as well as imposition of the reflected shock waves from the combustion chamber focusing elements and the influence of the resonant electric field with the detonation wave. Also disclosed is the hydrocarbon fuel combustion method implementation device.
EFFECT: increase in the fuel combustion energy efficiency and completeness, when using the combustion process in the electric propulsion engine, increase in specific thrust in 1,3–1½ times and specific impulse.
