FIELD: methods and plasmochemical reactors for processing of natural combustible, flue and exhaust gases of internal combustion engines to remove undesirable chemical compounds, particularly, CO and H2S, NO2 and CO2. SUBSTANCE: method is carried out by passing each gas at preset velocity through reaction chamber of plasmochemical reactor in which continuously firing streamer discharge between smooth cathode electrode and pointed anode electrode is established. Reactor has a reaction chamber with windows for introduction of gas and discharge of processed gas and at least two electrodes located in the reaction chamber. In this case, one electrode is pointed, while the other, has smooth surface. Electrodes are connected to different poles of high-voltage source. Pointed electrode is connected to positive pole of high-voltage source and flat electrode is connected to negative pole of high-voltage source. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 18 cl, 11 dwg, 6 ex
