FIELD: oceanology; biogeochemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in experimental oceanology and biogeochemistry for vacuum filtration of weighted components of natural waters, marine and freshwater bodies when measuring concentrations of mineral and organic suspensions. Device contains filtering device (2) in filter holder (1), receiver, which uses tank with water (10) to accumulate the filtered liquid, and pumps – centrifugal (11) and water jet (13). Water level in tank (1) is determined by the location of drain hole (14) on the tank wall. To create a vacuum using a serial connection of centrifugal (11) and water-jet pumps (13), while centrifugal pump (11) is located below, and water-jet (13) one above the liquid level in the tank. Drain the liquid from water jet pump (13) into tank (10), drain tube (5) of filter device (2) is connected to water jet pump (13).

EFFECT: device provides continuous filtration of large volumes of water in a continuous mode, elimination of filtrate entering the pump, the possibility of reducing the size of the device.
