FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shell and tube heat exchangers, in particular, for the chemical or petrochemical industry. Heat exchanger (1) comprising first outer shell (2) and tube bundle (3), inlet and outlet interfaces communicating with the outer side of the tubes and the inner side of the tubes for supplying the first fluid and the second fluid respectively, while the heat exchanger contains second shell (4) located inside first shell (2) and surrounding tube bundle (3). Thus, second shell (4) contains at least one releasable longitudinal joint (32) and a plurality of longitudinal sections connected by releasable joints. Also, second shell (4) delimits the outer side of the tubes of heat exchanger (1), surrounding tube bundle (3), and forms flushing interspace (5) communicating with the outer side of the tubes. Said first fluid passes through the outer side of the tubes along one or several longitudinal passages, and the first fluid and the second fluid pass along one or several longitudinal passages in counter-flow.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce the temperature of the outer shell, to increase the efficiency of heat exchange, to simplify the design as well as to reduce its cost.
