FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: shell-and-tube equipment comprises an inlet channel for the first fluid to be cooled, an outlet channel for cooled first fluid medium, a plurality of tube bundle tubes, at least one tube grid, a jacket tightly enclosing the pipes of the tube bundle, and bypass system for temperature control at outlet of first fluid medium with maintenance of certain target value. Bypass system contains a box installed inside the outlet channel. Box is equipped with a through hole or a passage, a control valve and a box grid of the box. Box is additionally equipped with bypass bayonet pipes. Each bayonet tube is partially inserted into the corresponding pipe of the tube bundle.
EFFECT: reduced dimensions and temperature conditions of equipment operation, increased repairability and corrosion resistance of equipment.
