FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: shell-and-tube heat exchanger has a cylindrical geometry and comprises a first pressure chamber and a second pressure chamber connected to a common tube sheet on opposite sides. Tube grid is connected to a bundle of tubes arranged in the first pressure chamber and containing multiple U-shaped heat exchange tubes. Each U-shaped pipe is equipped with the first section and the second section. First pressure chamber comprises, at least, one inner guiding casing with cylindrical or pseudocylindrical geometry and extending along large longitudinal axis of the first pressure chamber. Inner guiding casing surrounds the first section of each U-shaped pipe at least on the part of the corresponding length. Inner guide casing is tightly connected at its first end with tube plate. Inner guide casing is open at its second end.
EFFECT: shell-and-tube heat exchanger is proposed.
