FIELD: agriculture; physics.
SUBSTANCE: potatoes before putting into storage magnetic processing device contains loading container, receiving bin for the processed potatoes collection, conveyor load carrying belt, and electric motor. Conveyor load carrying belt is made of flexible rubber material and is located on rollers of non-magnetic material, into which flat rectangular permanent neodymium magnets are embedded. With their long side magnets are located along the conveyor load carrying belt entire width at regular intervals with equal to the half of the magnet width distance α, with possibility of magnetic effect on the potato tubers only by the positive poles. To eliminate sagging and mechanical damage to the conveyor load carrying belt, as well as for uniform magnetic processing, there are upper supporting rollers made of non-magnetic material.
EFFECT: invention enables increase in the potato tubers processing quality, which contributes to high preservation of potatoes during the entire shelf life.
