SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of control insects. When implementing the method of destroying locusts increase the body temperature of the insect. Heat exposure is carried out by a stream of heated air with a temperature of at least 52 °C in the affected area. Device for locust extermination includes a suction machine. Suction machine is an industrial vacuum cleaner with a hopper, a hose, a sucker pipe with a nozzle and a heat reflector attached to it. Reflector provides the possibility of heating the limited air space together with the locust to a temperature of at least 52 °C.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of extermination and subsequent collection of locusts.
