FIELD: electronic technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of the electronic equipment materials, namely, to the alumina ceramics, used in the microwave devices parts manufacturing. Corundum ceramics is produced from the charge, which contains the electric molten corundum, magnesium oxide, alloyed with vanadium pentoxide aluminum oxisol, with the following ratio of components, wt.%: magnesium oxide 0.08–0.30, aluminum oxisol 1.5–3.0, vanadium pentoxide, 0.011–0.045, electric molten corundum is the rest being. In the corundum ceramics production method, doped with magnesium oxide aluminum oxide is dried and calcined at a temperature of 850–950 °C, aluminum oxisol is alloyed with vanadium pentoxide. Doped aluminum oxisol aqueous solution is mixed with doped aluminum oxide. Prepared suspension is dried and calcined at a temperature of 400 °C, the resulting powder is mixed with the temporary technological binder (a mixture of the polyvinyl alcohol solution with a paraffin emulsion) and granulated. Articles workpieces formation is carried out by pressing at a pressure of 175–250 MPa, a temporary technological binder is removed by annealing in air at a temperature of 1,150–1,350 °C and baking the workpiece at a temperature of 1,720–1,780 °C in vacuum or at a temperature of 1,680–1,720 °C in hydrogen atmosphere with dew point of +26 °C.
EFFECT: obtaining of ceramics with reduced surface defects and elimination of the molds corrosion.
