METHOD FOR DEVELOPING DEEP OPEN PITS IN CRYOLITIC ZONE Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC E21C41/00

Abstract RU 2676352 C1

FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mining industry and is created in respect to mining conditions for the development of deep-lying kimberlite pipes in extreme climatic conditions of the cryolitic zone of the North. Development of deep open pits is carried out at the opening of the horizons by the opposite arrangement of the spiral shafts, passed from an open pit side and connected from the places of their intersection by an orebody. At the same time, the slopes of steep and stable pits are formed by combines with a milling executive body, the development of rocks at blastless technology in the process of leveling a hoe is performed by rippers with partial use for their destruction of a laser machining system. Reduction of the gas content of the pit space is carried out using mining equipment with gas-fueled engines. Moreover, a comprehensive extraction of mineral raw materials is carried out, for which an ore warehouse is being built on the open-pit side for its waste-free processing technology. Disturbed areas of the earth's crust are restored by backfilling using sliding declines, successive layers, first with stripping soils, then sand, and the top layer is covered with chernozem and fruit and berry plants are planted on it. Harmless burial of wastes from mining and processing industries is carried out with due regard for the relief of the earth's surface by constructing a locking dam from the concrete wall and dumping its outer side with stripping soils.

EFFECT: as a result of the implementation of the technical solution, the efficiency of mining deep open pits is achieved by reducing the amount of work in its contours, reducing the average distance of transportation of rocks from the pit horizons, improving the road conditions of the operation of dump trucks, increasing the productivity of kimberlite development and improving the environmental situation in the region of mining operations.
