FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, specifically to microbiology, and can be used to suppress the growth of microorganisms in an aquatic environment. To this end, a synergistic microbiocidal composition containing two components is used. First component is a nonionic surfactant with the structure: R1O(CH2CH(CH3)O)5(CH2CH2O)9H, in which R1 denotes a Cs-alkyl group. Second component is phenoxyethanol. Ratio of the weight of the nonionic surfactant to the weight of phenoxyethanol ranges from 1:1 to 1:18.2766. Synergistic composition is also used, the first component of which is a nonionic surfactant having the structure: R2O(CH2CH(CH3)O)3(CH2CH2O)nH, in which R2 denotes a mixture of linear C8-C14-alkyl groups and n is 5 or 7. Second component is phenoxyethanol. In this case, the ratio of the weight of the nonionic surfactant to the weight of phenoxyethanol ranges from 1:0.1999 to 1:36.5897.
EFFECT: group of inventions allows to effectively inhibit the growth of microorganisms.
